The wood map of Vancouver is made using real elevation data. It is a true 3D topographic map. No approximations or simplification. Touching gift for men or women that loves maps.
The map is made using high resolution satellite data. Made from solid Baltic birch plywood. Each map will be unique due to natural variances of plywood. Map is milled with CNC machine, decorated with laser-burned wind rose and scale, hand polished and varnished with great care and attention.
